Kids Craft Projects for Fundraising
Colorful picture frames, delightful painted mugs and vases, and fancy things made out from recycled plastic bottles and cans! These are kids stuff, you might think but don’t they eat your heart out to see how creative they are? Kids craft projects for a fund raising campaign are not only attractive and fascinating but they are also profitable!
Kids, beginning from preschool, are already creative by nature. They are curious about the things around them. They have a big array of imagination that they learn to improvise and to do things that they parents least expect them to do. These skills and imagination are cultivated through different art workshops available in town. Most parents make a good choice of having them enrolled in an art and craft activity center while they are young. The things they learned from these workshops are carried out until they grow up and even develop new ideas out of them!
Have you seen fancy flowers made up from soft plastic straws in a plastic soda bottle? They are so cool that you can’t imagine kids can make such thing out of something that you drink from and dump to the trash afterwards. It’s so amazing how they managed to cut a 1.5 liter plastic bottle and make it look like a bush with thin branches. And this is a brilliant and very creative kid’s craft project.
Then of course, the flowers mentioned are made separately. The soft plastic straws that we use for sodas are folded individually in a diagonal pattern to make small triangles in every parallel fold. After each straw, they will now be curled to lock both ends and form a flower. The flower actually looks likes the button flower.
And not to forget the leaves that complete the plant! These are also made form the same kind of straw. But of course, a green-colored one is used. Cut each straw diagonally while leaving a base part so it would look like a right angle triangle. Then all of these are inserted in each of the branches previously made from the plastic bottle. This kid’s craft project is really fun and interesting.
Isn’t it wonderful to see such long lasting greenery? In addition to that, the empty space in the base of the bottle can be used as a coin holder or simply a container.
Kids craft projects, like this, for fund raising are finding their ways to be a part of a non-profit group’s success. They are easy-to-do kid’s crafts you and your kids will surely love. And also an attractive tool to earn profit from scratch.
